A little more about me. I am a full time wahm (work at home mom) and my husband also works from home. When he and I met, I had no idea we would be 100% self employed one day. It really has been a dream of mine for a long time, but sometimes it seems challenging to get to where you want to be. As it turns out I have learned so much about how your belief in yourself can really change the way things go in your life. Some major transformations happened in my life during the past 7 years or so that have made me think completely differently. I no longer live in fear. I now live on complete faith. God allowed some really challenging things to happen in my life that forced to me make changes in how I was living my life. I already knew I was on the wrong path, but I had gotten so far off track that I didn't know how I could possibly get back to where I needed to be. I can tell you it was not an overnight process, it took considerable amounts of time and there were still challenging moments as God pulled me through it. Now whenever I face any obstacles in life, I know that God will use that circumstance in the end to glorify himself (and not me). A very interesting part of my story is that a group of people I met through network marketing led me to the faith I now hold strong to. It was through their leadership and mentorship that I started a journey of personal development that sparked many "ah ha" moments. As each new idea became a truth in my life I realized why so many things had not been going right in my life. On the outside many people always thought I had it all together and many looked up to me, but now I realize that I was trying to be the one in control. Now I know that I am not the one who is in control of every little detail. If you don't understand what I am saying, I mean that I am not trying to "play God" or manipulate Him. Anyway, during this "ah ha" phase of my life, everything started to make sense to me in a way I never saw it before. If you want to gain some perspective of what I am trying to share with you, read "The Power of Positive Thinking" by Norman Vincent Peale. I read that book with an open mind and took to heart many of the things he shared in there.
